Just as unique as the Flex 360® shear
design is the history of the development of this revolutionary
product. The Flex 360® design is the product of
two American hair stylists who, via their substantial
experience cutting hair,
know exactly how a truly comfortable shear should feel
and cut. The original power flex
thumb design
is the brainchild of Bill Brenton of Chama, New Mexico.
Bill Brenton has been a stylist for over 35 years,
and has dedicated the past 25 years of his life to
shear and
blade design. He is a certified master sharpener, has
made custom shears for over 20 years, and has always
possessed
a desire and passion to design the perfect quality
shear with the ultimate in comfort and control. He
has succeeded.
Brenton later teamed with Murray
Roth of Covington,
Louisiana to perfect the Flex 360 design.
Murray Roth has been a stylist
for over 30 years, and has experience in all aspects
of the beauty industry. In addition to his long tenure
as
a stylist, Murray Roth has been a platform artist,
school owner and has owned distributorships for different
products
in the beauty industry. Together, the two spent many
years developing the perfect ergonomic shear design the
result
of which is the present Flex 360®. Utilizing Murray
Roth’s diverse business experience in the industry,
Brenton and Roth built the present Flex 360® enterprise
to present their invention to other stylists in order
that everyone around the world could also enjoy such
awesome
comfort and control. Also joining the team is Roth's son, Murray Jr., a trial attorney in Louisiana, who has provided invaluable legal and marketing skills to the organization.
Today, the home base of Flex 360® Shear Systems operates
from Madisonville, Louisiana, USA (approximately 30 miles
north of New Orleans), and Flex 360® shears are
presently sold throughout the United States and abroad.
